Dr. Meeta Sharma is Assistant Professor, in HINDI with 10 years of teaching experience and also the convener of VMOU’s academic Hindi Programme. She is B.Ed., M.A. M.Phil. and Ph.d. in Hindi from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. She is also the Coordinator of academic language and Literature programmes in Rajasthani, Prakrit and Apbhransh. She has played a pivotal roll in lunching new programmes related to graduation, Post graduation & M.Phil in Hindi for VMOU Kota. She has Contributed extensively in designing curriculum, writing and editing student learning material for this University and another University like Uttrakhand open University. Jammu University and Post Graduation and Research Institute, Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar sabha, Madras etc. She has also contributed lessons titled ‘Lok Kathao ka Swaroop’ ‘Lokkatha me kathanak Rudia aur Abhipray’. ‘Lokgeetoin me chitrit istri vedna and ‘lokgeeto ki Vyakhya’ from Different states for U.G.C. E.P.G. Pathshala, New Delhi.
Her field of specialization is Prayogwad & Contemporary Poetry. Her area of interested also are lok sahiya comparative literature and samkaleen vimarsh. She has to her credit referral book Agyey ka kavya jeevan satya Evam Darshan. She has also published about more than 25 research papers, articles and book’s review in reputed journals. she has been instrumental in organizing various seminars and workshops of Hindi Depth and also presented research paper in various national & International seminar/ Conferences. She has been invited to deliver lectures for refresher/ orientation courses by University of Lucknow and M.D.S. University, Ajmer.
She is also guiding research students of VMOU and University of Kota, Kota. She has also acted as a refree to evaluate Ph.d. and M.Phil thesis of students enrolled in prestigious universities like University of Mumbai, Awadhesh pratap singh University, Rewa (M.P.), Vikram University, Ujjain & Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar sabha, Madras etc. She has also delivered talk on radio and also acted as a jury member “Bhasker Women Award, 2012” Kota. She is also instrumental in developing VMOU’s Kulgeet and Flag. She has also been actively associated with various administrative committees and works of the University. Presently she is the Deputy Director of training & Placement cell and games & Cultural Cell. She is an active member of literary association and professional Societies: like member, Akhil Bhartiya Sahitya Parishad, Jaipur, member as a trustee of Rajasthan Chapter of Sarvodaya International trust, Banglore and member as a Rajasthan Pradesh Mahila Mantri, Akhil Bhartiya Rajasthani Manyta Sangharsh Samiti, Rana (Rajasthani Association of North America).
