Dr. Kshamata Chaudhary is Assistant Professor in English. Her acumen as a writer is reflected in her writings for the University Quarterly Newsletter ‘MEERA’ as Editor; Presently she is Deputy Director Research & Development. She has also served as Assistant Director, EMPC, VMOU, Kota and as Director of ‘Centre for Research in Distance Education’, VMOU, Kota wherein as Convener she had organized many workshops, conferences and seminars. Her teaching and research areas include Postcolonial Literature; Indian Literature; Commonwealth literature; Dalit literature; Contemporary Canadian Literature; Short Fiction; Distance Education and Communication Skills. She completed her doctorate on ‘A Comparative Study of Formal and Informal Methods of Teacher Education in Teaching English’.She has written study materials for the post graduate course in English for University of Jammu and Punjabi UniversityPatiala.She is in many expert examination panel for competitive examinations and annual examinations.She is life member of Rajasthan Association of Studies in English, Institute for Research in Interdisciplinary Studies (IRIS), Jaipur and English LanguageTeachers Association of India (India) (ELTAI) Chennai.
Her books published as Co- Author: Perspectives of Modern English: Usage and Research-,Publication Macmillian-2011(Reference book for M.A.English, Kota University, Kota) and Indian Voices: An Anthology of Prose —Orient Blackswan, 2012 (Text Book of BA /B.Sc./B.Com General English, Kota University, Kota). Her articles have been published in various national and international journals. She has presented papers at National and International Conferences and Seminars in India and Abroad.
