Dr. Kapil Gautam, is Assistant Professor in Department of Sanskrit, Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University, Kota (Rajasthan) since January 2014. He is the course Convener/Coordinator of following programmes in Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University, Kota: Sanskrit, Certificate in Jyotish, Karmkand,Yoga, Ayurved, Naturopathy, Herbal Agriculture processing and Development. He is an alumnus of Jawaharlal Nehru University; New Delhi has a good academic career. . His Ph.d. and M.Phil. has been awarded in in the area of Advait Vedanta from Special Centre for Sanskrit Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University.He is Gold medallist of MDSU Ajmer 2008. He has a wide experience of paper presentations and attending more than a dozen national and international conferences including International conference of yoga and psychotherapy” held by WCP- AFP- YAPY- JNU during September 24-26, 2012, WEVES Conference 2012 (13-15 July 2012) held by Indic Studies UMass Dartmouth, USA, National Seminar titled "33rd All India Congress of Linguists” held by Linguistic Society of India & Department of English and Cultural Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh during October 1-3, 2011.His versatile personality and deep understanding of Sanskrit is well articulated in his multitude of research papers published in different journals of national and international repute including “Modern Perspective on Vedānta” Proceedings of the 20th International Congress of Vedanta(ISBN: 10:81-246-0639), “Sahitya Vartika”( ISSN: 2277-4181), Abhishechanam (ISSN: 2320-4184), Abhuday (ISSN: 2320-4176) “Pramana” (ISSN : 2249-2976). His one reference book named as “Adhayasbhashya of Sankaracharya (In the Light of Bhamati and Vivaran commentaries)” (ISBN 978-8124607398) has been published by D. K. Print world (Publisher of Indian tradition) New Delhi.He is also life member of several academic professional organizations like Bhartiya vidvat parishad, vagvardhini parishad JNU new delhi, Svakiyashashtracintanam, International conference of Sanskrit Students JNU, Bharat Swabhiman. He Taught Sanskrit as Asst. Prof. at "Indraprastha collage, Delhi University in year 2012. He is professionally conversant with Computer knowledge MS Office, Prolog Basics, HTML, NLP for Sanskrit, Java basics, JSP basics and has attended workshops on Manuscript logy and Preservation of Manuscripts , Science $ Technology in Ancient Indian Texts, Sanskrit Computational Linguistics, Mimamsa ,E-learning. His areas of interest for research include Advait Vedanta (Traditional ) and Modern Physics, Upnisad, Indian Philosophy, Sanskrit-grammer. He is continuously striving to research on Nature of Consciousness, Shankaracharya literature, Comparative study of Vedantic Mysticism and Modern Physics, Peaceful World of Sat (Existence), Chit (consciousness) Anand (Pleasure).
